It’s a Girl!

 

Congratulations are in order.  The Mommy Drummer of our Dreams, Kirsten Hamann, has arrived with all fingers and toes, pink and screaming, and ready to ROCK! 

 

Kirsten is a fellow mom of two, who decided last fall that more than anything she wanted to be the drummer for the Kegels.  So, she put her nose to grindstone to make it happen.  You can witness her amazing progress from “never drummed before” to “goddess of the skins” at two upcoming PTA fundraising gigs this spring. Check her out April 28^th at the Old Peculiar in Ballard, benefiting Salmon Bay School (where Kirsten’s and Jen’s kids attend).  May 19^th we’ll be back to benefit Sacajawea Elementary at our regular haunt, The Highliner Pub at Fishermen’s Terminal.  Both shows will include bands peopled by parents from each school and will include lots of opportunity to eat, drink and be very merry.  See the calendar page for more info on line ups and start times.  Hope to see you there!
