Saturday, July 14th - GRACE-A-PALOOZA! Street Fair and Music Festival sponsored by Gracewinds Perinatal Services, Inc. They're closing off the block from Noon - 3PM at 1421 NW 70th Street in Ballard. Lots of fun for the family including inflatable jumpy houses, face painting, sno-cones, sidewalk sales, vendors, and a dunk tank! The Johnny Bregar Band will be playing also, with the Kegels set to hit the stage around 1:00.

Thursday, July 19th - Loyal Height Community Center Concert Series! Two free outdoor, all-ages shows in one week? It must be summer! This is an evening performance from 6:00 - 8:00 with Jen's other band, Julep. Food and refreshments will be available for sale at the LHCC located at 2101 NW 77th Street in Ballard.

Saturday, April 28 at the Old Pequilar Tavern - Rock for FOSBE #3! Benefit for Salmon Bay Elementary with new fabulous parent bands in attendance! The line-up includes a secret local female favorite band PLUS... The Kegels, Hot Hamann Cheese, Kate Smith & Her Uke and a few others. Come enjoy a night a food and fun while helping our local school ($10 suggested donation).

Saturday, May 19 at the Highliner - Fundraiser for Sacagawea Elementary This is our first school fundraiser for a school besides Adams or Salmon Bay. We'll be playing with The Slags and some other parents at our favorite venue! $10 suggested donation

Monday, August 28 - Sunset Tavern in Ballard
To honor Dean, the Kegels played this memorial show with many of Dean's friends including: The Transmissionary Six, Jon Hyde Band and Rock Paper Scissors. The event was also a fundraiser to help pay for residual medical expenses and establish a trust fund for Dean and Penny's children. Donation info...

Saturday, May 13th - Seattle Mamapalooza 2006- The High Dive in Fremont, 9PM $8 Mamapalooza hit the Northwest and we were honored to be a part of this artistic celebration of Motherhood. We played with some fantastic mothers including Alice Stuart, Loni Rose and Kellee Bradley. Looking forward to 2007!

Saturday, January 21st—The Highliner Tavern in Magnolia's Fisherman's Terminal, 7PM. This was our first PTA fundraiser and now we are HOOKED! With the help of the other bands, The Glo, and the Daddies, we managed to raise $1000 for the Adams Elementary School Music Program (Penny's son Miles attends first grade there).

Friday, November 11th — The ROCKRGRL Conference at The Comet on Capitol Hill. Capital Hill? Yes, we ventured out of Ballard for the evening to participate in the Rockrgrl festivities. Penny & Jen attended the actual conference at the Madison Renaissance Hotel which included workshops like, "Ho Ho Ho - Lyrics as Humor," "Endorse This!" and Jen's personal favorite, "Podcasts, EPKs and Blogs: New Internet Frontiers." Who knew? We also attended "Shop Talk: A Conversation with Ann Wilson & Bonnie Raitt." Extremely humbling to be part of a Q&A with two of the most incredible women in music's history!

Saturday, October 8th—The Highliner Tavern
in Magnolia's Fisherman's Terminal. This was our first official CD Release Party. We went on first as usual, with the band Sorry closing up the night. Playing to a standing-room-only crowd, selling lots of CDs and t-shirts and eating celebratory cake made this show a memorable night in Kegel History.

Thursday, September 29th—The Sunset Tavern
This Rock for Choice Benefit concert included representatives from Planned Parenthood and NARAL. We had a great time playing for our mommy friends and opening for the bands Cober and Tart.

Saturday, July 30th The 2005 Ballard Seafood Festival was easily our best show ever... We can't get enough of the Kegelettes, Jim Wood, family, friends, and of course... there's the salmon. A huge thanks to our friend, Cindy Payne and the Ballard Chamber of Commerce for letting us kick it up in our crib. www.seafoodfest.org

Friday, July 22nd The 2005 Bite of Seattle... our first outdoor festival gig, we kicked off the weekend mommy style playing the Fisher Plaza Stage www.biteofseattle.com

Thursday, July 28th Blue Moon Tavern, U-District. Oh, the Blue Moon... such memories. At our first gig with Jim Wood, we opened for The Kelly Affair and Universal Measure and then got the hell out of there.

Saturday, June 11th The Highliner in Fisherman’s Terminal, Magnolia with Julep. This was our first gig with our dear friend Sir Jon Hyde of The Jon Hyde Band on drums. Terri suffered a last minute injury to her kegel muscle and the Jonner managed to learn our set in record-breaking time. This show made serious Kegel history with our first BOY player... and he even wore a tie!

Wednesday, April 27th
The Sunset Tavern in Ballard with Frozen Meats and Fighting Shy, “Chix with Stix” - a showcase of Seattle bands with female drummers. This was Terri Moeller’s debut as a Kegel and was she phenomenal!

Saturday, April 2nd
Mr. Spot’s Chai House in Ballard with The Upskirts and Aces Over Kings. This was our first public all-ages show, so our kids got to see mommy rock. We had to clean up our lyrics a bit and also added a few kiddie songs for our tiniest fans. This was also our first gig with drummer Jane Hall; she really was incredible after only two weeks of practicing!

Wednesday, February 23rd
The Rainbow in the University District celebrating Penny’s forty-one-derful birthday. This was the first time we got to play with our good friends, Julep, the band.

Wednesday, Janaury 26th
The Central Saloon in Pioneer Square following Jodi Hates the World and Ten Pound Rain. Our first money-making show! Starting our set at midnight on a school night crippled us as mommies for the next few days, but it was worth it.

Thursday, January 13th
The Highliner Tavern at Fisherman’s Terminal in lovely Magnolia. This showcase of twenty minute sets was our first “public” gig for eight of our friends, the other musicians, and five thirsty fishermen.

Saturday, October 2nd
“Cleaner Deaner” 10,000 Reasons to Celebrate Party at the Salmon Bay Eagles in Ballard. Our debut gig with only five songs, major screw-ups, and still… so much fun we had to keep doing it. We opened for the temporarily reunited and incredibly talented Rock Paper Scissors.
