MAMAPALOOZA HIT THE NORTHWEST IN 2006!!!

This is the MOTHER of all ROCK SHOWS, people! We were really excited that Mamapalooza, in it's fifth year, finally made it to the Northwest! We were honored to play at and co-produce the 2006 show at the High Dive in Fremont on Saturday, May 13th. The bill included other great mama acts: Loni Rose, Alice Stuart and Kellee Bradley. We had wanted to participate in the 2005 MamaP, but they only made it as far west at San Fransisco and we couldn't swing it. Lucky for us, Kellee Bradley stepped up and volunteered to be the Regional Coordinator for 2006 in Seattle, and then asked us to help out.

We all worked hard at promoting the event and it was a true success. Cathy Herholdt of the Journal Papers wrote a great story about The Kegels that made the cover of their May issue! This paper was delivered to 106,000 households the first week of May. We also hit a taping of KOMO TV Four's Northwest Afternoon program on Thursday, May 11th where we did a public service announcement for Mamapalooza. Finally, we had the good fortune to go LIVE on KBCS for their Lunch With Folks program on May 12th where we did a fun interview and some acoustic stuff with Kellee Bradley.
